This year's Annual Learnus Lecture will be given by Professor Susan Gathercole OBE.
Professor Gathercole is Director of MRS Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit, University of Cambridge. (https://www.mrc-cbu.cam.ac.uk/). She is a cognitive psychologist specialising in memory, learning and language.
Her interests are in the cognitive processes of memory, attention, language and learning. Much of her research focuses on children with developmental disorders in these areas of cognition, and investigates both the nature of the underlying cognitive deficits and how these deficits can be ameliorated with either cognitive or educational interventions.
